Car Accidents in New Jersey
Car accidents occur frequently in the state of New Jersey. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to predict the impact that these accidents will have on a person’s life.
Each year, tens of thousands of individuals are hospitalized with severe injuries that forever change their lives. Sustaining a spinal cord fracture, limb loss, or traumatic brain injury can severely impact your ability to work and significantly diminish your quality of life. Unfortunately, many car crashes that take place in the Garden State are caused by the negligent actions of other drivers.
One common cause of automobile accidents is driving under the influence of alcohol. Consuming alcohol or drugs before getting behind the wheel impairs judgment and responsible decision-making. Speeding is another leading factor in accidents, as it reduces a driver’s control and increases the risk of collisions. Additionally, countless New Jersey crashes occur due to drivers failing to yield to others.
