Hasbrouck Heights, NJ – One Killed, Two Hurt in Crash at US-46 & NJ-17

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ (December 4, 2024) – On Sunday, November 3, one person was killed and two others injured after a car accident in Hasbrouck Heights. The deadly accident took place on US-46 WB near NJ-17 early that morning around 2:30 a.m. The crash involved two or more vehicles. 

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Three occupants of one vehicle were injured in the impact. One victim, a 57-year-old man, was rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two other occupants of the vehicle were hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries and taken to the same hospital. They were reportedly in serious condition. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
