Gloucester City, NJ – Two Pedestrians Hurt in Crash at Rte 130 & Market St

Gloucester City, NJ (December 23, 2024) – There were critical injuries reported in a pedestrian accident in the Gloucester City area on Friday, December 20. The accident took place on Route 130 near Market Street late that night, around 6:25 p.m. Local reports revealed that two pedestrians were struck by a motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. A 51-year-old man and woman were walking on foot when they were hit. Both parties were rushed to a local hospital for treatment, with the woman reportedly in critical condition. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more details will be provided as they become available.
