Franklin Lakes, NJ – Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle, Injured on Briarwoods Rd near Bayberry Ln
Franklin Lakes, NJ (August 7, 2023) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after a motor vehicle accident that took place in Franklin Lakes on Sunday morning, August 6.
At around 11:30 a.m., the Franklin Lakes Police and local firefighters responded to the scene of a crash that occurred on Briarwoods Road.
Reports from the police show that a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Briarwoods Road near Bayberry Lane during the late morning hours. The bicyclist was severely hurt in the crash.
Authorities rushed to the scene and immediately performed CPR on the victim while rendering first aid. The bicyclist was transported by ambulance to St Joseph’s University Medical Center in the Paterson area.
At this time, the Franklin Lakes Police Department is investigating.
