Fairfield Twp, NJ – Passenger Hurt in Stop Sign Crash on Rte 722

Fairfield Twp, NJ (December 10, 2024) – On Sunday, November 8, a passenger was hurt and the driver killed after a two-vehicle crash in the area of Fairfield Township. The deadly accident took place near the Route 722 and Route 692 interchange early that morning around 7:27 a.m. Local reports revealed that 35-year-old Angie Doza-Rudas of Bridgeton was traveling northbound on Route 722 when she ran a stop sign and collided with an eastbound Ford F-550 pickup truck. 

Doz-Rudas was ejected from the vehicle. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene. Despite life-saving aid, the driver was later pronounced dead. A passenger in the car, a 27-year-old man, was rushed to a local hospital in serious condition. The driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is in progress.
