Car Accidents in New Jersey

Car crashes in New Jersey leave countless people injured every year. Unfortunately, many victims are left with broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, and even severe spinal cord injuries as a result of their accidents. There are several reasons why we continue to see so many accidents take place.

Some of the leading factors in automobile accidents across our state include:

  • Speeding: When drivers travel above the posted speed limit, they increase the risk of losing control of their vehicle. When drivers are speeding, they can drift into nearby lanes, lose control of their vehicles on curved roadways, and crash into others with significant force.
  • Run red lights: When passing through intersections, it is crucial that drivers stop at red lights and at stop signs. Unfortunately, there are a significant number of accidents that take place as a result of drivers who fail to do so.
  • Fail to yield: When motorists fail to yield to other drivers while passing through intersections, turning at intersections, or even switching lanes, they can crash into other vehicles and cause severe injuries or even death.

Unfortunately, the majority of accidents that take place are due to these and other acts of negligence. If another person’s careless actions have caused the crash that left you with injuries, an Englewood car accident lawyer can help you secure compensation for your losses and damages.
