Egg Harbor Township, NJ – Four Injured in Drunk Driving Crash with NJ Transit Bus on Black Horse Pike

Egg Harbor Township, NJ (July 10, 2023) – Several people were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident that took place in Egg Harbor Township.

At around 3:45 a.m. on July 9, the Egg Harbor Township police were notified that a crash occurred on Black Horse Pike.

Reports show that a vehicle collided with the New Jersey Transit bus along Black Horse Pike during the early morning hours. Further investigations found that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Kennedy Doughty, was under the influence. He was reportedly charged with driving while intoxicated.

The bus, which was carrying ten people at the time of the accident, was traveling westbound on Black Horse Pike.

Four people involved in the accident were injured. The victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care.

The Egg Harbor Township is currently investigating the crash.
