Dover, NJ – Elderly Woman Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Prospect St

Dover, NJ (November 13, 2024) – On Monday, November 11, an elderly woman was killed after a pedestrian accident in the Dover area. The deadly crash took place on Prospect Street at around 6 p.m. The city was gathered in Hurd Park to celebrate Veterans Day when officials were called to the scene of the crash. 

It was later revealed that a 74-year-old local woman was traveling on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The victim was transported to St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover in critical condition and later pronounced dead. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. The identity of the deceased party has not yet been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
