Colts Neck, NJ – Lauren Hewski Killed in Car Crash on Laird Rd near Longbridge Rd
Colts Neck, NJ (May 12, 2023) – An 18-year-old female has died as a result of a car crash that took place on Thursday evening in Colts Neck.
On May 11, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash on Laird Road.
Reports from authorities show that just before 12:30 p.m., a Jeep was traveling on the roadway when it became involved in a collision. The vehicle went off the roadway and struck a utility pole. The Jeep then overturned in the area near Longbridge Road.
A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 18-year-old Lauren Hewski, was fatally hurt. She was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 17-year-old male, was transported to an area hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
