Clinton Twp, NJ – Stroudsburg Man Dies in Box Truck Crash on NJ-31
Clinton Twp, NJ (June 21, 2024) – On Tuesday, June 18, a man from Stroudsburg was killed after a crash involving a box truck in Clinton Township. The collision took place on NJ-31 that afternoon. Local reports indicated that a dump truck, a Toyota sedan, and a Volkswagen collided at the scene.
The truck and the Toyota were traveling northbound on the highway when they collided. The Toyota then struck a southbound Volkswagen. A passenger in the Volkswagen, later identified as 70-year-old Arthur John Latzko of Stroudsburg, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead. The drivers of the Toyota and Volkswagen, along with another passenger in the Volkswagen, were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is in progress.
