Clinton Township, NJ – Three Injured in Crash with Entrapment on Route 31 near Route 513
Clinton Township, NJ (March 20, 2023) – Several people were left with injuries as a result of a crash that took place in Clinton Township on Sunday, March 19.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., authorities were informed that a motor vehicle accident took place on Route 31.
According to officials, a collision blocked the roadway in the area near Route 513 during the morning hours. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking the roadway.
At least one person was pinned inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. Multiple victims were injured in the crash Northstar & Southstar Air Medical Helicopter responded to the scene to transport one patient to a nearby trauma center for emergency care. At least three other people were transported to area hospitals.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
