Bordentown Twp, NJ – Injuries in Pileup Semi Crash on NJ Tpke

Bordentown Twp, NJ (October 16, 2024) – A multi-vehicle collision in Bordentown Township ended in confirmed injuries on Tuesday, October 15. The accident took place on the New Jersey Turnpike near mile marker 54.4 early that morning around 11:30 a.m. Six vehicles reportedly collided at the scene, two tractor-trailers, a transit bus, a transit van, a flatbed truck, and a box truck. 

Emergency responders were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid to the involved parties. There were reported injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. All northbound lanes were temporarily closed while local authorities worked the scene. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
