Bordentown, NJ – Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-295 near I-195 Ends in Injuries

Bordentown, NJ (March 1, 2023) – On March 1, the New Jersey State Police in multiple emergency officials out of Burlington County were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place in the Bordentown area during the morning hours.

The accident was reported to the police at approximately 6:20 a.m.

Police reports indicate that approximately seven vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 295 during the morning hours. The incident caused traffic to come to a complete stop in the area near Interstate 195.

Authorities were requested to provide assistance while at the scene. Multiple police and firefighters rushed to the area to close off the roadway. Crews went to work on removing the damaged vehicles and debris from multiple travel lanes on the highway.

Emergency medical services were requested on-site to render aid to multiple victims who suffered injuries. Those who required further medical attention were provided transportation to area hospitals.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are currently underway by the New Jersey State Police.
