Belleville, NJ – John McMillian & Angel Chico-Nieves Injured in Box Truck Wreck on Washington Ave near Mill St

Belleville, NJ (January 27, 2023) – A traffic accident took place in the Belleville area on Wednesday afternoon that left two people injured. On January 25, the Belleville Police Department responded to the scene of a traffic crash that occurred on Washington Avenue.

According to reports from the police, 20-year-old Angel Chico-Nieves was driving a passenger vehicle in the area of Washington Avenue and Mill Street when his vehicle became involved in a collision with the box truck.

Chico-Nieves and the driver of the box truck, 61-year-old John McMillian, were both injured in the crash. Chico-Nieves was transported to University Hospital for the treatment of injuries. McMillian was transported to Clara, Mass, for emergency treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
