Vineland, NJ – Fatal ATV-Motorcycle Crash at Panther Rd & Rita Ave

Vineland, NJ (August 27, 2024) – Two people were killed after a vehicle collision in the Vineland area on Saturday, August 24. The deadly accident took place at the corner of Panther Road and Rita Avenue late that night around 10:30 p.m. Local reports indicated that 31-year-old Vincent P. Hogan, Jr. of Vineland was traveling southbound on Panther Road in a motorcycle when he struck an all-terrain vehicle operated by  26-year-old Daniel Teapila-Portillo, also of Vineland. 

Both parties involved sustained fatal injuries in the impact and were later declared deceased. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid, and the area was temporarily closed for several hours while local authorities worked to clear the scene. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
