Toms River, NJ – Rollover Crash with Injuries Reported at NJ-37 & Hooper Ave

Toms River, NJ (March 29, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a car crash that took place in toms River on Tuesday, March 28.

Just before 3:40 p.m., the Toms River Police Department and firefighters were called to a crash that occurred on New Jersey Route 37.

Reports show that vehicles collided on the roadway near Hopper Avenue during the afternoon hours. The impact of the collision caused one vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to rest on its side while blocking the road.

Emergency services responded and secured a portion of the roadway.

Medics provided treatment to the victims who suffered injuries. Injured victims that required further assistance from medical professionals were transported to local hospitals.

The Toms River Police Department is currently investigating.
