Toms River, NJ – Motorcyclist Dies in Collision on Garden State Pkwy

Toms River, NJ (September 9, 2024) – On Sunday, September 8, one person was killed and another injured after a two-vehicle crash in the Toms River area. The deadly accident was reported on the Garden State Parkway near Exit 81 that afternoon,around 1 p.m. Local reports revealed that a motorcycle and a dirt bike collided at the scene. 

The impact caused both bikes to overturn and eject the riders. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid. Despite life-saving measures from responding medical personnel, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The rider of the dirt bike was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
