Teaneck, NJ – Two Killed in Rear-End Classic Car Crash on New Jersey Turnpike near Exit 70B

Teaneck, NJ (June 11, 2023) – Two people have lost their lives as a result of an automobile accident that took place overnight in the Teaneck area.

Just after midnight on June 11, the New Jersey State Police and firefighters out of Leonia and Teaneck responded to the scene of the crash on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Reports from authorities indicate that a 1950s-era car was involved in a rear-end collision with a second vehicle on the northbound side of the Turnpike. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to burst into flames near Exit 70B.

Emergency officials rushed to the scene of the accident and secured the roadway.

A man and a woman involved in the crash were both fatally injured. The two victims were pronounced deceased.

At this time, the police are investigating the accident.
