Southampton, NJ – Teen Bicyclist Hurt in Crash on NJ-38

Southampton, NJ (June 16, 2024) – On Friday, June 14, a teenage cyclist was hurt after a traffic accident in the Southampton area. The accident was reported on NJ-38 near mile marker 19.1 that evening, around 6:30 p.m. Local reports revealed that the 14-year-old rider was trying to cross the highway when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The boy riding the bike suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No updates on the condition of the involved parties have been provided.
