Roselle, NJ – Local Man Dies in Head-on Crash on E 1st St
Roselle, NJ (July 1, 2024) – One person was killed, and two others were hurt after a head-on collision in the Roselle area on Friday, June 28. The deadly incident took place at the 400 block of E. 1st Street late that evening, just before midnight. Local reports revealed that a BMW and a Subaru collided head-on at the scene.
The impact caused the BMW to catch fire, and nearby Samaritans were able to pull the driver from the wreckage. The driver, identified as Brandon Amaro of Roselle, suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene. The man and woman traveling in the Subaru were both injured in the crash. Both victims were hospitalized by ambulance for the treatment of sustained injuries. No updates on their conditions have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it continues.
