Ridgewood, NJ – Two-Vehicle Crash on Franklin Ave near N Walnut St Leaves One Injured
Ridgewood, NJ (March 15, 2023) – One person was left injured as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Tuesday evening in Ridgewood’s central business district.
The accident was reported during the evening hours on March 14.
Reports provided by the Ridgewood fire Department show that a silver Toyota Highlander SUV and a red SUV collided on Franklin Avenue at the intersection of North Walnut Street.
The incident prompted firefighters to close off a portion of the intersection while attending to the crash site.
Firefighters had to disconnect both batteries prior to telling the damaged vehicles due to fluid spilling from at least one of the vehicles.
Emergency medical services responded to the site of the crash to care for the victims injured in the accident. The driver of the Toyota was transported to the Valley Hospital for emergency care following this crash.
Investigations surrounding the cause of the accident are currently underway.
