Ridgewood, NJ – Injuries in Pileup Crash on Lincoln Avenue
Ridgewood, NJ (August 26, 2024) – There were reported injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in the Ridgewood area on Saturday, August 24. The crash took place that afternoon at the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue near Orchard Place. Local reports revealed that three cars were involved in a chain-reaction crash.
It was reported that the incident may have occurred as the lead vehicle slowed due to a passing pedestrian. One adult reported injuries but refused medical treatment of transport from responding officials. All three vehicles involved in the impact sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene. The area was temporarily closed as emergency crews worked to clear the scene of the resulting wreckage and debris, which included a fuel spill. No further information on the accident is currently available. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
