Ridgefield, NJ – Teen Dies In Hit-&-Run At Morse & Edgewater Ave

Ridgefield, NJ (April 15, 2024) – A young girl was killed after a hit-and-run accident in the Ridgefield area on Sunday, April 14. The collision was reported at the corner of Morse Avenue and Edgewater Avenue late that night around 8 p.m. Local revealed that the victim, a 15-year-old girl, was traveling on foot when she was hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.

The at-fault driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured party. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene after being notified of a victim lying on the roadway. The injured pedestrian was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center in critical condition. She was later pronounced dead.
