Newark, NJ – Injuries in Collision at S 19th St & Orange Ave

Newark, NJ (November 17, 2024) – On Thursday, November 14, there were confirmed injuries following a traffic accident in the Newark area. The crash took place at the crossing of South 19th Street and South Orange Avenue early that afternoon, around 12:06 p.m. At least one person involved in the collision was hurt. 

At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. Emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to nearby hospitals for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. Nonetheless, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
