Morris County, NJ – Three-Vehicle Accident Reported on Route 80
Morris County, NJ (February 19, 2023) – A major motor vehicle accident was reported in Morris County on Saturday that ended in injuries. The New Jersey State Police was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of the accident at around 3:50 p.m. on February 18.
According to reports from NJSP, a Dodge Charger was traveling on Route 80 during the afternoon hours when it crashed into the rear of a Mercedes-Benz ML3 for reasons unknown.
A BMW 330i then ran off the right side of the roadway before striking a guardrail. The impact of the crash forced the BMW back over to the left side of the road, where it impacted the Dodge and then struck the center guardrail.
One driver involved in the accident suffered moderate injuries. The victim was briefly provided aid at the scene by responding paramedics before being rushed to a local hospital.
The New Jersey State Police is actively investigating the crash.
