Manchester, NJ – Two Injured in Left Turn Crash at NJ-70 & Beckerville Rd

Manchester, NJ (June 30, 2024) – On Thursday, June 27, two people were injured after a car accident in the Manchester area. The incident took place at the corner of NJ-70 and Beckerville Road that afternoon, around 2:59 p.m. Local reports revealed that a 2020 Dodge Ram Promaster pickup truck was traveling east on Beckerville, making a left turn onto the highway, when it failed to yield to a 2011 Saab 93 Aero.

The impact caused the Saab to catch fire, and the vehicle was later extinguished by responding fire units. The impact caused the Dodge to rotate and hit a 2012 Chrysler that was also headed east on Beckerville. The driver of the Ram, 54-year-old Moussa Traore of Burlington, NJ, was transported to Jersey Shore University Hospital by ambulance for the treatment of sustained injuries. The driver of the Saab, 24-year-old Terry Cain III of Manchester, NJ, was transferred via ambulance to Community Medical Center. The driver of the Chrysler, 19-year-old Stine Eriksen of Plumsted, NJ, was not hurt in the crash. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.

Our thoughts are with Moussa Traore, Terry Cain III, and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
