Magnolia, NJ – Worker Fatally Struck on White Horse Pike

Magnolia, NJ (May 30, 2024) – A worker was killed and several others injured after a work zone accident in the Magnolia area on May 29. The deadly crash was reported in the parking lot of Produce Junction on White Horse Pike around 9:45 a.m. Local reports revealed that the workers were working in the northbound lanes of the roadway. 

A woman was pulling into the parking lot when she lost control for unknown reasons. The vehicle hit a curb and bush before striking four New Jersey American Water workers. One of the workers was on the hood of the vehicle when the driver hit a nearby garbage truck, pinning the victim. One worker suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second worker was transported to Cooper University Hospital in critical condition. Two others were hospitalized by ambulance for treatment of sustained injuries. The driver was also hurt in the crash. No updates on the deadly accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is in progress.
