Irvington, NJ – Semi-Truck Crash Reported on Myrtle Ave
Irvington, NJ (February 2, 2023) – A truck accident reported in the Irvington area sent at least one victim to a local hospital with injuries. The Irvington Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of a traffic accident on January 30 at approximately 3:10 a.m.
Preliminary crash investigations provided by authorities show that a broadside collision involving a semi-truck and a sedan took place in the area of 454 Myrtle Avenue. The vehicles came to rest, blocking the roadway and causing delays throughout the area.
Firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and worked to remove the vehicle, which was caught underneath the trailer of the semi-truck.
Emergency medical services responded to care for victims who suffered injuries in the crash. An unknown number of injured parties were transported to local medical facilities, where they underwent further medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
