Hackensack, NJ – McDonalds Employee Hurt in DUI Crash on River St
Hackensack, NJ (January 1, 2025) – An employee was injured after a pickup truck crashed into a McDonald’s in Hackensack on Tuesday, December 31. The accident took place on River Street early that morning around 3 a.m. Local reports revealed that the driver of a 2025 Dodge Ram pickup truck struck the building of the establishment.
A 21-year-old employee was hurt in the crash. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The driver of the truck, a man from Teaneck, was charged with driving while intoxicated and assault by auto in the fourth degree. The store will require extensive repairs as a result of the incident. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
