Gloucester Twp, NJ – Child Hurt in Bicycle Crash at Chews Landing Rd

Gloucester Twp, NJ (September 21, 2024) – On Wednesday, September 18, a child was hurt after a crash in the area of Gloucester Township. The incident occurred at the corner of Chews Landing Road and Little Gloucester Road late that night around 6 p.m. Local reports revealed that a juvenile was riding a bike when they were hit by a motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, and the victim was found on the road when officials arrived. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. The injured cyclist was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for the treatment of serious injuries. The area was temporarily closed while emergency units were present. It is unknown if any citations are pending in relation to the crash. No further information on the incident is currently available.
