Workplace Accidents in New Jersey
Certain lines of work put people at risk every day. Construction, oil and gas work, and other roles can be quite dangerous, and many workers are left with serious injuries due to accidents on the job. Statistics show that falls are some of the most common work-related accidents in the United States. In fact, a total of 865 workers died in falls in 2022, and hundreds of thousands were hurt badly enough that they had to miss work. Injury Facts reports that 144 workers were killed in falls from short heights in 2022. This means that a worker doesn’t have to fall from a very high level to be seriously hurt. It can be difficult to pursue a full recovery on your own if you or a loved one is hurt in a serious workplace accident.
