Centerline Crashes in New Jersey
Drivers who veer into oncoming traffic are an active threat to everyone on the road, including themselves. These types of crashes are over-represented in serious crashes across the country. When two opposing vehicles crash head-on, the force of impact is severe. Despite making up less than 2 percent of reported crashes nationwide, head-on impacts make up more than 10 percent of traffic fatalities. It can be hard to recover from such a severe crash on your own.
