E Windsor, NJ – Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Town Center Plz near Rte 130

East Windsor, NJ (November 14, 2024) – On Wednesday, November 13, a woman was killed and another person was hurt after a pedestrian accident in East Windsor. Local reports revealed that the incident took place in the Town Center Plaza parking lot near Route 130 at around 5:35 p.m. The victims were traveling on foot when a Monroe resident hit them after accidentally accelerating in their vehicle. 

This caused the driver to lose control and hit the pedestrians and another parked car. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid. A female pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The other victim was rushed to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. The identities of the victims have been withheld. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
