Deptford, NJ – Two Injured in Three-Car Rollover on NJ-55

Deptford, NJ (September 3, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a pileup rollover accident in the Deptford area on Sunday, September 1. The collision took place on NJ-55 early that morning, around 11 a.m. Local reports revealed that a Chevrolet SUV was traveling on the right shoulder headed southbound on the highway when it hit a Ford SUV in the right lane. 

The impact caused the Ford to enter the left lane, where it struck a pickup truck. Both SUVs then hit a nearby embankment and rolled. The driver and passenger in the Chevy were ejected in the crash, and both were hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries. The occupants of the Ford were also hospitalized for treatment. No additional information on the collision is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
