Blakeslee, NJ – Driver Dies in Two-Car Crash on I-80
Blakeslee, NJ (November 25, 2024) – On Friday, November 22, a driver was killed after a two-vehicle collision in the Blakeslee area. The deadly accident took place on Interstate 80 near mile marker 286.6. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties.
Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene, but the circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. One of the drivers involved, a 58-year-old Elmwood woman, sustained fatal injuries in the impact. She was later pronounced dead. At this time, it’s unknown if anyone else involved was hurt in the crash. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present to provide aid to the involved parties.
